When Patricia Zhou, Prix de Lausanne laureate, steps on to the stage, the audience takes notice. Born in Canada and raised in the United States, she received her professional training at the renowned Kirov Academy of Ballet in Washington D.C. and has emerged as a top talent with a bright future on the world ballet scene.
Although Patricia started her ballet training late at age of 13, she progressed rapidly and came out on top often winning first and second place in international ballet competitions.
She has been a regular invitee to prestigious galas such as "The Stars of Russian Ballet" and "Apollo Ballet Festival" performing soloist and principle roles alongside famed stars and principals of the Mariinsky Theatre, Bolshoi Ballet, America Ballet Theatre, San Francisco Ballet, Staatsballett-Berlin, New York City Ballet, National Ballet of Ukraine, and many other companies. She has also danced in Youth America Grand Prix's "Stars of Today Meet the Stars of Tomorrow" tour, the "Tremplin Jeunes Ballet" in Monaco, and the "Gala of Stars" in Los Angeles.
On May 3rd, 2011, Patricia made her premiere on network television with her debut performance on ABC's "Dancing with the Stars". She was featured as the first spotlight guest, making her the first ever solo dancer on the show.
Patricia has performed several principal/soloist roles in classical and modern works from choreographers ranging from Ohad Naharin to George Balanchine.

Her photos have also been featured on Harper's Bazaar, Elle Magazine, and Business Insider.
Patricia graduated from The Kirov Academy of Ballet as the recipient of the "President Award" in May 2011. Upon graduation, she was invited to dance with The Royal Ballet in London, UK.
Patricia joined Staatsballett-Berlin in 2012, and has since danced many lead and solo roles in both classical and contemporary pieces, and has been hailed as one of the most interesting and versatile dancers in the company.
She is very excited to have joined LADP this season and looks forward to working with the company.
